meet Jesse Ammerman

Jesse has over a decade of experience litigating cases across Wisconsin and Michigan. His areas of practice include family law, civil litigation, guardianships, consumer law, creditor disputes, and other issues. Jesse has represented a wide variety of clients over the years, from children and families to major corporations.

Jesse is also a court-certified family law mediator with a unique understanding of the challenges people face as they go through divorce or child custody proceedings. From 2020 to 2022, Jesse served as Friend of the Court director for Iron County, Michigan, assisting families with cases in the family court system. In 2021, Jesse was named U.P. regional director for Michigan’s Friend of Court Association. While work with the Friend of Court was rewarding, Jesse re-entered the private practice of law aiming to help people solve legal problems they will run into from time to time. As part of his work, Jesse always seeks to listen and understand what people are going through as they navigate through some of life’s most difficult moments.

In his spare time, Jesse can usually be found with his wife, daughter, and 2 dogs, taking advantage of the amazing opportunities that the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin have to offer.
